Ali Badarneh

Ali Badarneh, a Palestinian graduate of Birmingham University, UK, began his career in 1997 as a food safety and quality consultant in the Middle East. He joined UNIDO in 2008, initially working in the Trade Capacity Building Department before transitioning to the Agri-Business Department in 2016. Currently, he serves as the Chief of the Food Security and Food Systems Unit at UNIDO, Austria. He has received notable accolades, including the UNIDO Role Model Award in 2019 with a scholarship to Harvard Business School and four Merit Awards during his tenure.
