How it started
Fi Africa is the leading food and beverage exhibition in Africa, launched in 2021 as part of Africa Food Manufacturing, and co-located with ProPak MENA. Combined, these events provide the market with a one-stop sourcing platform for the latest and most innovative ingredients and packaging, processing and logistics solutions from Egypt, the North and Central Africa region, and around the world.
Egypt is a fast-growing economy and is quickly emerging as a key hub for regional exports, with free-trade agreements with neighbouring Middle Eastern countries leading to an increase in export demand for Egyptian food products. Its large domestic consumer market and its strategic geographical position in the heart of the Middle East and North Africa makes Egypt a clear choice.

The industry’s premier processing and packaging event ProPak, launched ProPak MENA in 2021. ProPak has a wide reach in Asia, and now will offer unrivalled opportunities for businesses in the ever-growing MENA region.
