SEMNL, headquartered in Beijing, is committed to the R&D, production and sales of bioactive peptide with biotechnology at the core. It is a high-tech enterprise recognized by the municipality of Beijing and the state, and has set up three major marketing and service centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

SEMNL lands its R&D center in the State Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering of the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the bioactive-peptide production base at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in Huaibei, Anhui Province. So far, its product portfolio includes collagen peptide, oyster peptide, elastin peptide, bird’s nest extract, ginseng extract, sea cucumber extract, undenatured type II collagen and so on.

SEMNL has applied for nearly 50 patents, and is granted 28 of them; presided over a number of provincial and ministerial-level research projects and the formulation of a number of group standards; published nearly 30 research papers, including several on SCI and EI. In particular, based on the joint evaluation of bioactive peptide efficacy we conducted with Peking University School of Public Health, the book On the Nutrition of Fish Collagen Peptide was prepared.
