Sustainability is of increasing importance to all industries. At Informa, sustainability is central to how we run our events, how we make decisions and how we do business on a daily basis. Every year, we aim to make the event more sustainable and to encourage our visitors and exhibitors to improve their sustainability efforts. In doing so, we strive to continue to improve the industry.
Fi Africa is proud of how it contributes to the sustainability of the industry and has developed programs, content and networking opportunities focused on food sustainability, waste management, biodegradable material to widen this contribution
We will fund travel for African associations to promote the African continent's potential in the industry, in order to showcase the unique capabilities and opportunities that Africa has to offer.
We will providing buses for visitors, supporting the use of sustainable transportation.
We will reuse our stands across all our Egypt shows, reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices in the industry.
We will dedicate Fi Africa's talks to sustainable practices in the industry. This will include waste reduction, improving efficiency, and adopting eco-friendly solutions.
This year we would like to focus on diversity and inclusion in the F&B industry, and highlight women's growing role and Impact on the industry.
This year we partenered with Egypt Junior Business Association to support entrepreneurs aged 21 to 45.
Implementing sustainable design practices in our conference halls.
This includes using less wood and incorporating more plants to promote a greener environment.
