Visa Information

In order to obtain the Brazilian visa you must follow the regulations based on the policy of reciprocity in such a way that foreigners wishing to visit Brazil are submitted to the same restrictions Brazilian citizens undergo in their respective countries. In any case, there is not a general regulation to obtain the Brazilian visa. The best information source is the Brazilian Consulate your respective country. Go to the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and see the list of services provided by the consulate worldwide.
Citizens from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay are allowed to stay up to 90 days in Brazil carrying only their original identification document (must have a photo and be in date).

The visitors wishing to stay up to 90 days who hold a passport issued in one of the countries listed below are exempt from the visa requirement:

- Valid Passport
- Proof of income or financial situation
- Return flight ticket
