5th Edition
The fifth edition of the 1-day Future of Nutrition Summit will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, a day before
the Fi Europe 2020 show, offering a glimpse into future developments and technologies likely to change
the face of the food & beverage industry in 5+ years.  

Five years on from the first Future of Nutrition Summit, we will invite a number of prominent experts and startups to return and share with us to what extent their projections and expectations have been fulfilled
5 years later. Setting the stage for independent futurist thinkers, disruptive startups and food pioneers from across the food industry and beyond, to share their insights into how the food and nutrition landscape might change in the near future. Besides leading-edge content, there is ample opportunity for peer-to-peer networking.

Attendees: C-level experts from diverse disciplines and industries, including Food Science, R&D, Innovation, Sustainability, Marketing and Brand Management, Retail, Nutrition and Public Health as well as Startups/scale-ups and investors.

Tackling current challenges and identifying immediate opportunities for the F&B industry.

The 2-day Fi Conference will offer a programme focussed on tackling current challenges and identifying immediate opportunities for new product developers in the F&B industry.

Through a mix of keynote presentations, panel discussions and master classes the conference will provide
in-depth insights into current trends and challenges affecting the industry and examples of applications
of the latest research, as well as deep dives into the key issues affecting the current and future growth
of a specific F&B category.

There will be two streams at the Fi Conference 2020 – running for 2 days in parallel:

1. Discovery Programme. Location: Discovery Theatre, Show Floor. The Discovery Programme will present the latest research, innovations, formulation strategies and market trends covering the following four themes: Clean Label & Natural; Plant-derived; Taste & Texture; Health & Well-being.

 2. Master Classes. Location: Meeting Room, Hall 4.C. The Master Classes will offer deep dives into a specific market category, with the latest innovations, reformulation strategies, clean label solutions, market updates and trends on the following categories: Bakery & Snacks; Beverages; Active & Performance Nutrition.
