Food ingredients Asia conference 2019 & 2nd joint ACS AGFD - ACS ICSCT symposium on agricultural and food chemistry

This year the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT) will once again hold their International Conference during Fi Asia. The theme of this year’s conference is Advances in Food Ingredients for Healthy Living.

The food and drink manufacturing industry is the largest industry in Asia, and has a strong focus on innovation. As the market evolves, several ingredients have emerged as key success factors in functional food development in order to respond to public health awareness. Furthermore, indigenous foods which may not be commercialised yet are found to provide benefits to the human health. Therefore, there is a need to understand the functional aspects and practical application of commercial ingredients as well as the quest for new ones from local sources. The conference will cover all the above with topics relating to all aspects of food for health and nutrition.
