Fi India & Hi Expands to Northern India

Fi India & Hi will rotate annually between Mumbai and New Delhi

November 2015, Amsterdam: India’s domestic food market is seeing huge growth. The market is expected to reach US$ 258 billion by the end of this year and is projected to grow at a rate of 104%, reaching US$ 482 billion by 2020. Northern India in particular is seeing a large growth due to government support and incentives and a lot of agricultural diversity. In recent years a number of large international food parks have been set up and they host multinationals such as Pepsi Co, Nestle, Reckitt Benckisser and Perfetti. The food processing industry is a high priority sector for a majority of Northern Indian states and the sector is expected to continue to grow and prosper in the coming years.
